We apologize for the delay on this area.

Should we resubmit if we submitted a few months ago, or do you still have sites that far back?

Is it really smart to start approving new accounts when there's so many disk space problems with number of websites that AB is already trying to support?

Any idea what the delay would be like if a site was submitted for approval today?

Not that I can, of course, since I'm only just designing the thing! But let's pretend!

Approvals have restarted and most have been completed.

And we are capable of handling space issues, there is nothing in the world that can handle our disk usage. So either way its not a issue with problems its a issue with webmasters uploading a billion gigs per update so now quote restrictions come into affect.

Also approvals are done by other people while we have others clearing space. We're brought additional people onboard that are still learning how to perform daily functions. We do not wasnt him deleting sites so we are ensuring he knows what he is doing. Also space issues can take up ot 24 hours so please dont expect 1 minute response times

If a ticket is not answered please resubmit it as sometimes our system likes to reject tickets for some odd reason. Escpecially when they come directly from an email. We are switching to a more stable manager.

Thanks.

The problem is the webmasters that have been around for months and have -alot- of disk usage. The quota's were put in place to be fair for everyone.

It's not fair for 1 site to have 90GB of content, 1 member, whereas site #2 has 10GB of content and 50 members.

Yea thats true but what is also not fair is the poor webmaster who had afair amount of members when this whole thing started and now has been reduced to 1 or 2! And it is not through any real fault of the webmaster if he or she could not upload for a month or 6 weeks because of lack of disc space and or that the site was lost in moving from one server to another!
If we are talking about being fair here what about those ppl who have lost members because of something out of their control!? And those webmasters who have members in the triple digits have lost members also but to the guy who had 30 members in Dec and now has 3 or 4 what about him? It is a legit question! I threw over 250,000 uniques at my best site and got some sign ups and they turned rite around and canceled even with a warning that the site was having hosting problems! People pay for a service and if you cant give it no matter what the circumstances they will leave!

If a guy rent out chairs for sunbathing and it's raining all summer it ain't fair either. He lost a great deal of money buying them in the first place. He can only hope for a good season next year.

At least we got paid for the signups, covering (all? some?) traffic expenses.

I thnk that solution is:
for all webmasters 10GB space+each mont 5GB(but I must have at last 1sign each month)
If I will have no new signup I will not add new space for this month.
