OK that's good, but how about telling AB what could be done to improve things? Or is it that he doesn't really know, but wants it fixed anyway? ("I can't quite put my finger on it"). :oops:

Notice the difference? its not about design. I think text is much better on the DP and jans signups forms

I have to say that putting the sign up pages of the other networks and or avs that you happen to be a webmaster of tells me alot. That since you feel that AB has not got what YOU consider to be the best of the 3 sign up pages. I have sites on 1 of the other networks myself and i enjoy being on and with bioth BUT it shows poor taste to try to compare the leading networks and much less to actually put the sign up pages in question on AB to try to prove a point!
Personally i think the only thing that you have proven is that you should maybe go to the other" better" sign up page networks and STAY there! :twisted: Im done darn it you went and made me mad after Aussie made me laugh! :evil: :evil: :evil:

Well man its you problem if you go mad. You have 2 problems, getting mad and getting out of it. I am not doing this to try and demerit AB. I think AB has many good and better things than other networks. In fact most of AB is better than in other networks. I am just making a suggestion to help AB become a better network since I have been working with them for a long time now.
Many enterprises make mistakes and stay on their mistake for ever. Maybe for other people the AB signup form is perfect. For me it isnt. I think with more text telling people about the great things they would get with AB would make a better signup form and that will be translated into more signups for everyone.

To be honst I dont give a shit about your opinion darnpj. I only made this post in case some AB representatives read it and maybe think a little bit about it.
People or enterprises thinking all what they are doing is perfect is the worst mistake they can make. I think we have to auto evaluate ourselves all the time for the main porpouse of making more money. Or isnt this all about money?

Well I hope some AB reads this, maybe Mr Contaldi, and thinks about it.

I know what you were saying, my point however, was all you needed to say was something like, "AB should have more detail on their signup page, showing people what they are getting".

If you think it through though, AB's is probably the best. Firstly, it looks a lot more professional than Jan's and a bit more professional than DP's.

When someone goes to the signup page, one would presume they have done so because they want to Join, not because they want to be sold, AGAIN.

If they get there in error, and leave without signing up, then AB have an exit page, which provides a very detailed explanation of what you get as an AB Member.

that popup helps. But don´t presume. Many people get to the signup page for many reasons. Many of them may not be convinced yet and a little push could help.

Welll as to going mad no one said that, but im not gonna waste anymore time trying to simply say it was in poor taste to put all 3 of the sign up pages up on AB's forum! As to giving a shit I dont recall asking you too!
Once you posted this thread it made it also belong to anyone who post an answer to it! But you feel your way and i will feel mine and we can agree to disagree and leave it at that!Later! 8)

What about a german version of the AB SignUp Page? This would be very cool for german visitors. So they feel like they are at home.
