2257 changes!

Hey All,

Well i guess its time to bring this up and i will because i see it may be a rough time ahead for us in the states ! This new 2257 law or changes to the old one is looking to be a total all out war against the Adult Biz online!
Any of you who have content and that is pics and movies BE PREPARED! They are going to want all kinds of things like, for every pic on every page or gallery or EVEN banners will have to have a release and photo ids even for granny sites! And also for each pic the domains and When, Where, How! It looks tough fellow webmasters! If you have been watching you know that this is going to take place on August 24th or 30 days after that date! They will begin the witch hunt!
Im going to contact all of the providers who i have bought content from and make sure that they have or even better send me ALL of the info as some of the providers only give a license and not the model info they have a records keeper who may be contacted for this info! But these ppl are going to come to your HOUSE and want all of it say for a pic that is still online and is 5 years old and has been used for 10 gallerys to different sites and then used someplace else> They will require you to show them ALL of it! It looks scary to me! I have all of the info for my movies and my pics but again the license will not be enough! You must have all of the records up to date and with all info domains, when, pics models releases and photo ids, and exactly what domain you have it on and we are talking EACH and every one not sets but individually! :shock: LUCK TO US ALL!

This is good to hear, or atleast good to be informed. You guys have you're own content I suppose, but most of use use the stuff out of ms.adultbouncer.com. Now, none of us have anything on this content expect a link which points to ab's custiodian of records. So, ROOOBBB !, do we have to do anything more, any particular type of info ?
This is a question especially to Rob, he's the main man after all.

I know that you wanted an answer from Rob but since i started the thread i must add, that what this is turning into is a records keeping thing! Its not IF you have the info or have the Keeper Of Records Name,Address, and etc as much also as a question of being prepared to answer any and all questions?
I believe that AB has their end covered BUT remember this is a USA issue and iam in the process of trying to find out if Canadian webmasters are affected also in anyway!? Im sure Rob would know but im trying to kinda make clear that ALOT of ppl dont know about this and im still not sure if the Government can pull it off? What perhaps 10 million websites or MORE worldwide?
I guess im just trying t help my fellow webmasters and let them know that this MAY be a witch hunt! And they could come to your home and say the redhead in th gallery from this site that you submitted looks too young we want to see YOUR prove that she is not! Now i dont know about you but I change alot of names of my pics and gifs and i have that rite under most licenses BUT the damn gallery may be 3 years old and not even on a CD but i have ALL zips from every piece of content i have ever bought and thats fine but HEY if the gallery is 3 tears old and i have gallerys still showing up on my stats for my sites then unless i have the gallery backed up Im scratching my head and GOING TO JAIL! Yea thats very true Fly and the good old usa is trying to tame a lion with a stick but also remember that G.B or the U.K is also a major allie on just about ALL fronts with the states. The one advantage is that the european morals are lees uptight than the good ole usa and that is what is helping you! But this is a records keeping thing so that the small amount of child porn that does make it on to the open internet gets stopped!
Ultimately that is what this is all about the few messing it up for the many And if they see a babe who looks young on a site here when the law really starts to kick you or not you personally but ppl will have to show that she is not and that you have a pic id and a signed model release in your home! It looks like a it could be a pain! 8) Luck

No no panic intended but there are a lot of ppl who dont know about this new and improved version! BARF But its is looking like a reality that must be prepared for in the near future. And your correct it is a hell of a job fixing what is already there but we have a president who is seeking reelection and this sort of thing is a good vote getter for him!

Hey Rob, Well that is kinda what everyone else thinks and it is just one of those things that is not gonna go away! I posted the url when it was happening and there are many very concerned I myself feel pretty secure BUT there are always gonna be the 1 pic that i have used 5 times and changed the name 3 times and it will simply be a pain to figure it out.
I do know that Xamo had a replay of the Live radio/TV talk they had about it. Just click on the url i put up at the top of the page and then archives there is lots and lots of shows with many top ppl in the fight! Worth a look.
And Ziege yes the U.S.A and the U.K are about as close as 2 countries that have fought each other 2 times and have become partners in many of todays concerns besides Iraq, and world affairs! Im not saying that the UK is gonna jump on the bandwagon Im just saying that in some instances it could happen given the political climate at the moment. 8) Luck

this is a link to the PROPOSED changes to the 2257 compliance. It's a huge crackdown on child porn basically. As with any proposal, it'll be amended a dozen times before it's finally presented for a vote. I'm sure it will pass but until it does, NOONE will know what the new rules will be. Anything up to that point is nothing but speculation.
Hope this eases some of the confusion :)
