Why do we have to wait 2-3 hours to see whether our galleries actually uploaded correctly and are fully working?

Instead can't adultbouncerhost use a simple .htaccess file so that the movies/pics are only available from the adultbouncerhost webpage. Hence preventing hotlinkers?

Then are galleries would be accessible immediately, and instead of wasting/waiting around 2-3 hours we could use that time for submitting to lots of tgp/mgp sites!

Been trying last 2 days to get my galleries working...i'm so frustrated...

Problems i've encountered.

(1) Pictures won't display.
(2) Movies won't work.
(3) Recips won't display.


I ask myself why is this so difficult? Pissed off with abhost using my own server instead.

I found that having NO folders for anything works...take everything out of folders and link 'em that way...makes for a messy tree but no probs since i've been doing it.

I name each associated pic, clip and htm the same thing...such as cassy1.mpg, cassy1.jpg, cassy.htm...this way they stay grouped in my file tree.

if you have a recips in a seperate folder you have to name that folder in the link i remeber having this prob with it.

with it taking so long i dont know ab-jay said it should only take 40mins he fixed mine in irc.

Just seems kinda stupid to me anyway, what other network forces hour delays for gallery hosting? I realize it is free but damn. Just glad I don't use it.

If you have a Recip's Folder, you have to host your content in that folder, as Hotlinking is prevented. That's why Dred's idea works.

I use individual folders for the Movies and only have a few recip's for each. Limits the amount of people you can submit to, but it makes more sense than having hundreds of duplicated recip's.

Or just do as Dred does.

At least next time I know not to have my recips on the abhost server!

Now I need to find a nice, easy to use, effective auto-submitter program as perfect tgp submitter sucks!
