non-a.b. issue...help with php

I have been playing with flash and i have a flash submit form that requires a php file. i figured out how to do the php file (a very simple one...not fancy) and it worked fine with the exceptiion that it never sends the info0rmation to me by email thye way its supposed to.

the php form itself had my correct email address but the form was never delivered. is there anyone who can help?
This is for a non-a.b. site...my personal website. I know its not the usual thing to do but in the past 2-3 years i have been here i have found that whenever i get a problem i can always find my soloution here.

That all depends on your PHP code.
Also make sure you have access to "sendmail".
