CGI scripts were allowed on the servers because they would be a good thing for the webmasters but they are causing more troubles than anything else.
As of today,
* no more cgi accounts will be activated without someone at ab actually reading the scripts and approving them.
* YABB and other bulletin boards are banned unless they prove to our satisfaction that they work withe the zeus web server 4.0.
* No more server variable type scripts.
* No more recursively executing scripts that loop on forever.
If anyone is found to be violating these rules for cgi, their cgi account will be taken away.
We apologise for the inconvenience but this must be done as it degrades the performance of the server when it has 50 cgi scripts running in an unending loop.
