Ok when i use moviesplitter with NO DRM protection, the clips turn out fine.

When I make the clip WITH DRM protection it seems good, however, when I go to view the clip, instead of checking for a license... I get a "Save file to disk" box.
-If I choose to save the file to disk, it is named "index2.aspx" , it saves to disk then the movie doesn't play because there is no valid license.
-If I choose to open the file it is basically the license in plain text, then my movie doesn't play because there is no valid license.

Anyone else experience this?

The splitter is working fine otherwise, but I would like to provide DRM protected clips in my free galleries.

what version of windows media player are you using? I have not seen this in any version i have tested with. Also, please provide as many details about your platform as possible.

Can you check if your movie file is "Read-only"? Maybe you download the movie and burn to CD. And if you copy the movie back to HD, the file became read-only. The license infomation cannot write to the movie file.

AB Movie Splitter version 1.0.0

Your version is too old. The last one is 1.0.7.
Click on Check for update in the Tools menu in Movie Splitter to get it.
This new version should fix your problem.
