Pics we're allowed to use

Okay, this may have been posted before but I can't seem to find a link for it.... I know we're supposed to use licensed pictures on our site, but what if we don't have any to start off with, does ab provide some for starters? If not, is there anyway around not buying licensed pictures? and is taking (low quality) screenshots from movies still allowed to be used as pictures?

Use the screenshots from your movies, for most sites, this is enough.

When building your tst site you can just use place markers in place of the movie screenshots untill your site gets approved then you can use the pics provided w/ the movies.

Dont make screenshots of unlicensed movies its just as bad as using the movies themselves.

If you mean pictures for design then you're going to have to buy some or design something temporary and then utilize the screenshots later to incorporate into your design.

if you use something that isnt yours, then its not allowed. but there are many places where you can buy good picture content. Go to any of the main webmaster boards and webmaster resources and you will find hundreds of places to get cheap and even free pic content.

when you talk about "your movies screenhots" What movies are you exactly talking about??

when you order content from AB, you also get a .zip file with all the screenshots in them, its basically a movie still.

Hey Kdash,

I guess my question is has your site been designed? Or are you talking about pics for the DESIGN of your site? If you are still in the design phase then i suggest you get a little bit of money together and use some licensed pics for your design, there are lotsa content providers that will charge by the pic or by the series many, many ways to get some decent content.
Just look around and do a few searches on google and you will find some good content at a reasonable price! 8) Best Of Luck
