Why was my site rejected from preapproval?

Hi there,

This is a list of the reasons why I rejected your site. This is to make it easier on me becuase I have to go through a lot of sites. I will be referring to this page when I send you a rejection notice. The notice will have a number or numbers depending on what you need to change.

1. Site needs aesthetic improvement
2. Site is not fully functional: ie, broken or non working links, images, no members area, no template for screenshots done, no working email is available, etc.
3. Content found on your page does was never licensed to Adultbouncer for distribution to its webmasters. Please provide a license or remove the content. Due to copyright issues we also cannot allow any image that uses windows media players, quicktime players, microsoft logos, etc. Also credit card images with visa or mastercard, etc are also not allowed.
4. Divx content was found.
5. A non supported file type was found, ie: .exe, .rar, .ace, .zip, etc
6. An incorrect preview or members URL was submitted and a valid one was not found.
7. Webmaster already has 2+ sites with adultbouncer.*

* The last rule is something that is new, I am doing this becuase there is
more to just site design in becoming a successful adult webmaster. You also need to learn promotion as well. Promotion is not as simple as it may seem, but with practice and a good effort, you can learn how to do it.
Webmasters too often work on a site, and then when it doesn't make sales, they abandon it and move on to something else. What I want webmasters to do is to go back and make improvements to thier site and make it successful. A webmaster with 10 sites with 3 members apeice tells me that they are just relying on ABs site listing traffic. A webmaster with one site and 20+ members tells me they are making an effort to promote and update, etc.

From now on, I am allowing webmasters 2 sites only, unless they have shown that they can get signups, meaning that they have at least 10 signups between any 2 sites. If you come up with a good reason why you should have another site, I am always willing to listen, but cannot guarantee anything.

If you got a rejection notice and wanted to talk or email me about any questions or concerns, thats no problem. I only ask that you first take a look at your site and try to find what you are violating anything before you have me go over it again.

nah, even though someone's site is not that good looking, it doesn't mean that they should give up. I have had instances where people resubmit 5-10 times. Some get mad and quit, some keep going at it until they finally get it. The point is to keep learning on the way. Because nobody knows everything there is to know, we all started out as noobs with shitty sites, but eventually you get better on the way and you keep improving upon your site. What I want to avoid is people just quitting one site and opening an equally crappy site without learning what went wrong with the first one.

I know people who have awesome designs, and still cannot convert. But they keep trying and trying, eventually they will get it right.

Hi,

I just recieved you rejection mail for site 30656. For esthetic resons, and you also added to the mesage that my other sites need more signups.

I am trying to create a group of sites to make secundary URLS and do SEO to those URLs to refer targeted search engine traffic to each one of them.

Here are 2 examples of the secundary URLs behind my AB archives:

http://lesbianarena.adultbouncer.com/lesbian_video.html

The idea is not interlink them and get good traffic as I have tried submiting and MGP traffic and they dont conver well.

For an exmple that I am a good SEO type "female orgasm" in yahoo and "Orgasm movies" in google. Angelsspot.com is mine

My point is, can redisign my site for getting it apporved?

I will get signups to my other sites after I have done a good SEO job.

I can improve my design, but the thing is I allready own 2 sites with AB. Thats why i posted all the thing about SEO to see if I get started working on my new design once you authorize me a 3rd site.

Hi, you may want to put your time into getting enough signups on your current sites to warrant having a third site as QA had mentioned in his post.

use a program like photshop or fireworks to make your images, and you can use html editors like Dreamweaver to make your site.

Hi,

you can use any good graphic program you want. I for instance use Macromedia Fireworks, others use Photoshop, and still other Paintshop pro or something else. It is not so important, which program you use, its important, that you know how to use it - so you can get great results from every software.

When I started I went through the whole tutorial section in the help (F1) of fireworks and did all step by step - at the end I knew the program and how all works. Later when I needed certain tips I did a search at google for "tutorial fireworks + subject" and mostly I found what I needed. You can do the same thing with photoshop, I guess you will find a lot more tips and tutorials, but a lot there also works with other graphic proggies.

Sometimes I also surf the tutorial sites without a really need and sometimes I get an idea how to improve my site or I simply let me inspire by them.

But I recommend you to choose you a program and stay with it for a while ... and not change after some weeks to another and so forth. First learn the one until you know how to use it - it does not help to have 5 times graphic software on your drive only knowing every one a little.

I´d like to know which of my videos are unlicensed and where can I check which producer and videos area licencesed.

yes only movies at that site are allowed. otherwise its illegal. well, unless you have the licenses, which i doubt since they range from $250 to around $1000 (per dvd). Just use what AB provides you with and everyone will get along just fine.

When I was registered for the first time, to me there has not come the letter with the statement of registration. Then I was registered in second time, and there came letters with the statement of both registration. After submiting sites to me there has come the letter :

Hi,
I believe your testsite has been disabled.
If your testsite is accessed by more than 20 IP addresses we than disable your directory, and take away your access by ftp. This is done automatically by a script we have running on the server.

You are not allowed to promote your site while it is on the test server and until it has been approved and activated onto our live preview and members servers. I have re-enabled your directory for uploading and emailed you your current ftp information for siteid 31297.
