Would love some feedback on my site....

Yo all,
Been a long time in the making but I have almost completed my latest revision on dlxxxdvds.com, but i am in need of some peer critiquing (to get an idea of how it looks).

Don't mind some criticism, but some positive comments would also be awesome :)

Well where do we start?

Negatives
Server is very slow in loading, it won’t last long under lots of traffic. Is it your server or just the heavy graphics? None of the thumbs have been optimized.

Lots of random movies. Ok you have categorized under genres and studio but clicking on that tab does not offer much help. I am looking for a specific actress in an anal movie maybe a search function would help otherwise customers will not be assed trying to find a movie.

Your title image? What’s with the strange color it changes too when the mouse goes over it.

DVD covers. This is my pet hate :( It always feels lazy and a bit of an eye sore. Never use them on the main front page. You’re wasting valuable space for other important things. If you must use DVD covers in the subpages then something like this.

Ok I have hammered you enough so some positives.

Site is very clean (good)
Easy to Navigate (great)
Sample pictures can be clicked and viewed. (Would like more images per scene though) but still (good)
News Letter (some customers do use it) (good)
Related titles (great idea)


Sorry this sounds harsh but we are trying to help our Webmasters get the max from there sites.

Much appreciated, and i should have anticipated some of the feedback too (i have been a little lax on a couple of the pages). You're right when you say the site is slow to load, there is a few other sites on the server which are getting a fair pounding, however which caching turned on i believe these will load much quicker.
I also think i could do a little better with the url's too, so i might have a stab at writing a sef extension for joomla to suit the DLX site. =D
