Number of US customers

I checked the transaction list of my new site and I was quite surprised with the result. Only 25% of new members this month were from the US. I expected more members from the US.

How's the situation with other sites? Has the number of US customers been always so low?

Depends on your own site traffic I guess. I can't say that I have ever seen more US customers, it has always been a varied range of customers from all over the world.

My traffic has always been from the same sources - movie galleries :) I checked stats from 2005 of one of my old sites and almost 50% members were from the US. I have been actively promoting my new site for less than 30 days, so it's maybe too early to draw conclusions.
