Using promo links for linking to my own site

I'd like to use promo links to my own site from the "promote the network" section as a tool to track sales from various sources. That means, I'd go there and choose my own site and generate links like this one:
http://www.adultbouncer.com/promoclick.php?linkid=999999 (sample)

I'd then use each link for a different traffic source.

Is this allowed? Will there be any consequences?
