Generating traffic!!!

How can i generate more traffic to my side? I Have 20K hits pr. day but not to many signups any idea why?

whoah. if you get 20k hits and no sign-ups, maybe it's not just the traffic. It's really a two-pronged approach:
1) take a good look at your site. Don't just design something that is passable. Put yourself in the frame of mind of a visitor. What would get you to sign up? This may be hard so ask a friend to critique your site too.

2)make sure you are trading good traffic. Invest in a counter on your site. See how long a visitor stays. If the average stay is less than a few seconds, you know it's probably crap traffic.

Honestly, I don't think you have 20K hits.... are you looking at the hits in your webmasters lounge? Cause if so, those are not unique hits...

If you do have 20K hits, then you probably get some really bad traffic... :?

Yeah it was from the webmasters lounge! I didn't now it was not unique hits? I got 2 sign ups in the first 2 weeks.

I've always used http://www.sexlist.com - They're free and I've never had a problem

Counters and banners from such as sexlist, sexcounter and a bunch of others are blocked by my spyware blaster and silencer programs.

I know they're there because of the white box with the X with alt text...i wonder if i still count as a visitor?
