Visits to Signup page not being tracked?

looks like linking directly to the signup page is tracked, but nothing registers when a visitor comes through a hosted gallery or linking to a DVD page using

?wm=xxxx

I havent seen a single signup page clicks tracked except for the one I tried linking directly

what am i missing?
