FTP problems, staff said it was fixed but it wasn't

I been haveing the same problem for about for about 2 years now, ftp will not let me login or it will for about a minute. I have emailed the staff numberious times but they say everything has been fixed but it hasn't. Every time it will work for about a day then it will no longer function or it will only allow me access to one of my sites. I have tried different clients and different machines at different locations and still no luck.


I get the message, after it accepts login and password: server closed controlled connection.
