Link List Sites

I'm having problems with my new site being listed at link list sites. Apart from DangerDave and Wetplace, nobody else has listed it although I obeyed their rules. Among others, I tried: Hoes.com, Wild Unicorns, abhookers-pornlist.com, jays-xxx-links.com and Monica's reviews (I got a reply with a question "do you have anything else besides these 3 movies?". At the time I didn't).

Is there something terribly wrong with my site, or those link list sites simply don't accept AB sites in general? If so, what can I do to get more traffic?

Any suggestions would be appreciated :)

Here is a suggestion. I submit to over 200 LL everyday promoting various sponsors.
Those LL you mentioned will list your adultbouncer AVS site once, and it will slowly slip further down the list. The best way to get productive LL traffic is to build "FreeSites" which promote your adultbouncer site. Basically, a mini site with just a front warning page, a main page with a nice Half Page Advert for your adultbouncer site and a couple of gallery links, containing between 20-30 pictures.
Rather than spending too much time submitting your main adultbouncer site to loads of places I would do this, and save trading front page links for good linktrades, if putting any up at all.
Thats my 2cents worth anyway.

I did find out however that most of those link list sites want your free site to be hosted on your own domain. So you could be facing the possiblity of paying for your webspace if to be listed.

Martay: Free sites aren't bad idea. You say you submit to over 200 LL. Could you mention several of the LLs which have proven good for bringing traffic to your free feeder sites (feeder sites for your main AB site)?

Mikie1: Yes, most of the link lists refuse to list AB sites if they are hosted on AB servers. Only two LL listed mine. I have paid hosting now, but it's not much in terms of BW - 25 GB. Not sure if that's going to withstand the amount of traffic coming to free sites...

Sorry for my delayed reply. Nowadays I dont come in here very often.
First of all, I also have my own hosting account for my freesites, mainly coz I promote other sponsors on them. But with an average of 5 out of seven days worth of submitting each week I usually burn 25-30 gb a month in BW.

theres are to name just a few. I used to hand submit to around 120 but then I found this great free submitter, http://www.adamsubmitter.com
This tool I use for LL submissions only as I havent got round to configuring the TGP submitter for my needs. It is an awesome time saver, it does take a little fiddling to get used to though.
There are 200 LL in its database, although a few are now dead, I spent a day sorting through all the LL in its DB and added my own that werent already in there( from my own list, not my own actual LL) and now it takes me no more than 1 1/2 hours to submit to approx 230 LL.
Try it out, it has auto and hand submit functions, if you have any problems with it let me know, or post on the adamsubmitter forum as they will help you to.
As far as traffic it varies, some list you quickly like Cleos and some take ages like Richards, and honestly really I only look at BW and dont follow page hits, only sponosr hits and sales.
I average ratio with Freesite traffic at 1-150 I would say, although its hard to make that statement as my true ratios with most sponsors is around 1-100 and less, but I use one or two other methods of LOW traffic but LOW conversion ratios.
