ok.. i admit i took a really long time to get my site togethor.

I'm in the navy and I dont have a lot of time to work on it sometimes.

Anyhow. The main pages are done and I would like to submit them for approval now but the testwww wont allow me to login anymore. so Rob if ur watching this i went ahead and put the site online at my domain so you could see it:

Some feedback from a fellow smut-peddler:

I suggest improving the quality of the images in the film reel in your header graphic. Why not make the images as clear and sexy as possible? The file size of a sharp header shouldn't be an issue if your pushing movies that could be 100mb in size.
I'm assuming that when you are done, your Box covers will be linked to the particular movie pages/sections. Right now, they are not.
Don't use the large pictures for small thumbs. Use an image viewer/utility like Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com) to resize entire groups of images (batch mode) to make thumbs quickly and easily. The problem with using the large images is the load time. For your pages that have several movies you are loading 30+ large images that are only being used for thumbs. My highspeed connection took some time to load the thumbs when it could have been an instant display with thumbs.
Your join page doesn't have a bottom bar. Not sure if you wanted one but thought it should be pointed out.
I would suggest using the custom join page feature. It can be a lot of work to get it to work for you but I think it can be worth it when it is completed.
You should have a link to the 2257 info.That's it from me. Other than that, your page is full of pornographic nakedness, which is good - many other sites have a lot of blank space with filler graphics. Good luck.

Sorry, I was gone on a long shitty deployment without much chance for working on my site. I have done a complete overhaul. I uploaded to the ftp but lol I cant submit for approval cuz i dont know the url it ended up at (the nice live chat lady gave me the ftp nfo but not the subfolder nfo for testwww) lol.

A word about the new site... Its a basic layout like the approval pages mention. Its the design and flow im going for atm. It's not done, I've got like 30 movies on my approved movies and I'm gonna add em all.. (3 movies per page to keep access times decent). I fixed the picture issue and have a much better appreciation and understanding of CSS now. I think you will find this version acceptable. I will continue fleshing it out but I'm also quite eager to get approved after all this time. I'm back on dry land now for awhile so I can devote more time to this. Anyone with comments on my design please let em fly I'm eager to hear them. Thanks for all the patience guys. I hope I can make ya proud in the near future.

Here's some feedback on your new design...


You have far too many styles of text. To make your site easily navigable, the visitor needs to know what to look for and understand how the site is designed. If you have 6 different font styles (my name is..., join button, hard-core definition, regular movie info, watch it now, newest additions, and that doesn't include the header) it not only makes the site look unorganized and makes navigation difficult. I suggest not necessarily choosing 1 font, but definitely choose a style and employ it thoughout, rather than changing your style in each section. For example, take a look at the AB.com homepage. The text on the titles and the buttons are different sizes, some are event using different character widths, but the style is consistent. The regular text is one type and the buttons and titles are another and it is consistant throughout. This concept of choosing a style and sticking to it should also be applied to your graphics (shapes and colours).
If your site will be focused on ATM as you stated, you should state that somewhere. You give a definition of Hardcore, but the site is supposed to be more focused on a sub-theme of hardcore (ATM). Your movies that you are pushing on your front page should fall into that category. The pics you show in your header graphic should fallow this theme also. I would also suggest that the site title be geared towards that also, but it's not necessary.
The images in your header graphic are compressed horizontally and that makes it look amateurish. Make all of your graphics sharp, clean and crisp and not distorted. There are too many crappy sites that are poorly designed with images that don't fit and end up looking like the ones in your header.
I would highly suggest having the boxcovers you have shown linked to section of your site for each movie.
Still need that link to the 2257 info. I don't think your site will be accepted (by QA) without it. I would also suggest adding an FAQ page where you can better sell your site (discuss price, video quality, security of people's financial info etc....).
Take a good look at the sites on the AB Best Sites list. Those sites are successful, not only because of their promotion techniques, but because of what they are promoting - clean well designed sites with consistant style and easy navigation. Look to them for inspiration (be inspired but don't copy them, or D-XXX will shit down your throat, film it and start a 9th site all about scat). They will help show how to make you site look more professional and less amateur. You may be new, but your site doesn't have to show it ;-) ! Hope that helps,

i agree with most of what you said. I was just trying to work it through without starting over. And atm stands for At The Moment. Not Ass To Mouth.. My bad but if you reread my post you can see what i meant. The focus of the site is general HARDCORE. Thats why I chose that niche so I can include lots of variety as long as its all HARDCORE (throat gaggers, midget gangbang stuff and not like softcore (not that much on ab is softcore) It just none of the mild stuff.. mainly assbangin , rougher type sex and the occasional freaky porn like the midget stuff.

I will begin work on a new header image and I know what you mean I have looked at a lot of other sites for inspiration and I have been careful not to copy their layout etc... I'm not great with fonts and I am using css quite well now where i can change the images for the style oriented bits (header, buttons, seperator bars, bkgnd colors,text fonts etc...) without modifying the html at all. Thats what Im most proud of there the modularity. I agree my design is not perfect. I forgot about the faq and 2257. I do want to provide the area with the text explanation of adultbouncer and how great it is I just wanted to splat up the pics to instantly grab hold of the prospect and try and lure them deeper in and didn't want to jabber on too much with no show. I think the seperator bars help for that purpose.

I'm constantly amazed by the top sites collages of hotties in their headers. I know how to use the lasso tool pretty good but those seamlessly put togethor headers are just flat out impressive. I will need a lot more practice on that. The header has been thru so much resizing on mine I agree I need to scrap it. I'll keep tweaking this one by modding the style and finish the structural part on the html w/ the diff parts of the page. Thanks for your input and I will continue to ask for your opinions here as I make more progress.

A big problem I had was image size... using imageready to optimize the jpgs worked out fairly well but my images still total about 700KB which is far from optimal. Any advice on techniques for that would be appreciated.

I am using hand coded html strict and CSS. No databasing No php (im still learning it atm). Also not using any java or wysiwyg editors. I have seen some sites that clearly have a very integrated database and linked actresses to scenes,studios,categories, even release dates. Thats a little out of my reach right now but its still a nice idea.

Im getting a bit frustrated here. I think I am doing well good design on this site (although i know its not perfection) and I just got denied again for "using DVD covers" now.. I know there is a rule stating you cant just plop 4 dvd covers and a couple of pics, and looking at my site I dont think thats what I've done. True its only 5 DVD covers but thats intended to show the five newest additions as well as I show the rear dvd cover near the description so that the person can have a glimpse as to the content of the film.

Now about it being Niche specific. I think I have followed that rule well. "HardCore" is a bit broader niche than most but I am certain to only snag the filthiest flics I can find in the movie system. And occasionally some bizarre ones.

Also, I'm not trying to just plop up a 'few pics' and a 'few covers' to the site. I'm trying to make an effective design that will pull in the viewers and I think Im doing a good job at that and I am planning on frequent redesigns to smooth out the bumps. Also Its not like I am only hosting 4 or 5 movies. I've got 32 in the movie system and If I can ever get approved I will add them all in a easy to navigate format that will show the viewer that Im serious about delivering the goods.

Ok, now that I can understand. That looks like ass... my site doesnt look like that. Mine is Niche Oriented. HARDCORE is my NICHE and the dvd covers and the pictures show it. I think I got denied simply for utilizing DVD covers at all. Thats silly. If you dont want us using dvd covers at all... why supply them to us? Im seriously confused now.

Your niche is fine. What seems to be not understood is that DVD covers are not needed.
