After my members site being down for over 48 hours and countless messages on icq I've finally found out that the server my site is hosted on had a major data loss so now I've got to reload everything again including content and DVD's I've bought and also had on the same server.

I would have though this would justify an email from AB informing all webmasters on that server of the problem but, once again, AB treats us like crap and just leaves it til someone tries to find out what the hell is going on before anything is resolved.

This is supposed to be the premium AVS on the net but its going downhill so quickly its getting more hassel than its worth. Time to step it up a gear, streamline, improve on what you have and most of all offer quality not quantity. Look after what and who you have otherwise you'll be left with nothing!

You can reach me anytime. Im sorry if you feel we treat webmasters like crap. Thats FAR from the case.

We havent backed up data for over 2 years now. There is way to much. Each machine consists of 3 terabytes of data and we have 250 machines. There was a server that was lost last week.

Also if you have your own content you can courier (on our fedex account) me copies of the DVDs or a Hard drive (ill send you back the HD or i can send you a blank hard drive to copy everything) with the data and we can restore it for you quickly.

I do apologize about not notifying you of the server problem. I think we did send a notication but im not sure if everyone received it.

our system has also improved 100x over since many years ago.
I understand your fustrated and I would be also. We had our share of many system failures, Dos attacks etc.etc. so i know the feelings.

Sorry for the original rant, I wasn't in the best of moods anyway then after hearing the members site had been lost I just decided to have a blow out on here.

I contacted AB on icq around 4 times and was told they were looking into it or would check it out, only at the last time did I find out anything was seriously wrong.

I'll add you to my contacts list on icq, although I dont really know how much you can help me as everything just needs uploading again. My biggest problem is that I'm currently in the middle of a huge project so its going to be trying to find the time to get everything back on the server.

Anyway, I'll get in touch as soon as I get chance and sorry again for throwing the rattle out of the pram on my original post.
