Dialers are now online for all websites.

We will slowly be migrating them to all sites over time.

We have hundreds of servers to migrate so the process may take 1-2 months to full implement.

No, the modem calls a phone # and from there it connects to your website and then gives them access.

Being from the UK and running a UK themed site, i'd be interested to see how this does. I think i'm right in saying that dialers are more popular over here??? as we don't have connection speeds like you guys in the US and 56k is still prob used more than anything else (although broadband is catching up).
Can the dialers be used from most countries?

Im not thinking that you or we add the link as i already have the option showing in my signup area its listed as no cc and thats a great way to put it, I feel perhaps we may see an upsurge in signs. Or maybe not i dont know what is being charged I think its by the minute or something?
There are some out there who say dialers are a rip for the lil man. But im all grown up and i figure if the person has to have and this is the only way OH WELL! But maybe you can just add the link to the signup as that is where it is. In any case i want to see what it does for the ole jingle. 8) Luck To Us All

I tried the dialer out to my own site. I did get connected to my members area. (I'm on DSL)
None of my pics came up on my members page. just text. which made it impossible to see anything that was being offered on my site.

I checked the properties on one of my pics in my members area and url for the pic is usually:

http:// prv.wivesonly.adultbouncer.com/Member/pic-name.jpg

The url now reads

http:// cgi.goodthinxx.com/Scripts/nph-aconti.exe/aid=172293/pa=3/za=2/session=723A3C2E

when I click on a link to one of my archive pages of downloads (image red X'd out)
it just refreshes my main members page (still with no images) and doesn't take me to the page I wanted with the downloads.
Everything works perfect when I use my regular ab pass.

I'm assuming this is all happening because everything is not fully implemented yet.
Because no pics came up and I couldn't access the downloads. I hope I wasn't charged. (tried a couple times and was on just a minute or 2 each time.) No charges as of yet has showed up in my dialer stats)

I also tried accessing another site but couldn't seem to on the same connection.
I'm assuming you have to redial in to access another members area on another site. Is this true?? Might seem like a hassel but is probably the fairest. If they want in YOUR members area, you get the credit, even just to look around.
Is this how it is going to work?

Seems like they are basically saying this dialer thing generates more revenue than CC's (35 times by their estimate. this I have to see) Still don't know what the price per minute will be though. Being an international call and having to state what country your calling from, it's probably going to vary.

As for the issues with the members area, I am looking into that issue. Thanks for the notification. We will also be adding recurring 900 pretty soon if we can work out a favourable agreement with the billing company.

I'd like to give the dialer a go but I have no idea how to promote it as it seems that the download time for the movie files won't be any quicker than they already have, which means people will be downloading for 2-3 hours at a time & thats lotsa money but will people go for it or will it be better for them to go for a membership.

Any Ideas How To Promote To Make It Sound Tempting?

Using the dialer, All my images are coming up now. I can access my download pages in my members section. looking good. thx for the fix. Couple other things I noticed while connected through the dialer. I refreshed the page I was on (in my members section) and OOOPS, I was out of the members section and back at the page to dial in through the dialer with no way back to the members section without hanging up and redialing in.
I tried a download and through the dialer the speed was about 60K. Tried a download using my reg AB pass (same file) and the download speed was 160K+ Could be a good thing though as the name of the game with the dialers is to keep them on as long as possible.

Also went to my other site #7819 and using the dialer to access it, I got a 401 error in german. ( i was charged though as the stats showed up. I'm not to worried as it was only a min or so) I'm assuming this is because the site is not fully implemented yet. I had no problem accessing it with my reg AB pass.

Hope this dialer access works out well.

It can be promoted as a test for the site, what do you think? people can try a dialer to see if the adultbouncer network and our site fits his/her needs and maybe after this a singup in our site, but... how can I now if the dialer works in my sites?? also dont know where to place the link... but I think that with time we all will be able to get good revenues from dialers :wink: btw... dont know how :P

I like the idea of advertising the dialer as a 'sample what we got' kind of thing, that certainly would be cheaper for the customer & with any luck they will 'need' that movie :)
