There's currently an issue with the backplane that the drives are hooked up to, I'm working on getting a replacement part for the machine, that's why it's up/down/up/down

Yes it's a good machine, all our boxes are well taken care of. I spotted an issue with one of the SCSI backplanes and it started locking up the machine. It's hardware related and I discovered it on friday afternoon, I ordered a replacement but I'm afraid it won't show up till tommorow morning/noon.
