Voting is staying! An AB Webbie mentioned a great way to prevent cheaters.

1) Webmasters CAN NOT vote.
2) All votes need to be approved by the member. Once a member votes his email address on file will receive a note requesting approval of the vote he just submitted.

We think this will kick cheaters right in the ass :)

More stuff!

Approval process is being tightened, we will no longer approve sites that are:

1) poorly done.
2) We will not allow webmasters to submit sites that are using same templates. This will prevent useless sites getting into our site listing.

New site listings will only allow 10 sites at a time.

AND!!

We are opening gaybouncer.com. Guess what that will be :)

Also bugs and stat issues have flatlined past week or so, that only says one thing our webmaster area is becoming stable. If you still have issues with sales details please pop me an email so we can investigate into it for you.

I know what you mean. I got an angry phonecall last month from a Legend Studios rep - He didnt think it was within the license terms to offer full scenes in the members area. He basically said that I could only use small clips from scenes. He was a total ass about this. the kind of clips he is talking about are only used in galleries to promote larger pay sites.

I decided just to avoid his studio altogether after this.

But we do have something we are creating that hopefully will allow us to acquire shitloads of other studios. Dont disclose anything so competitors dont try to leap ahead.

Most of the vids from the content site are marked with five star dvd's logo, can't you just get the newer stuff from them? Or do you have to go straight to the source of the vid for approval of use?

An adult video producer want to cooperate with me, and promise to provide me the totally original movies, they can find beautiful young models just for what our site want and provide at least one movie per week, I saw the sample one, really good.

The movie is from China, I know your guy mainly come from western contry, but don't forget asia has the biggest market. I believe that with
this content, just don't worry the profit.

The problem is just the money, about $5000 per movie, they give me all
right to do anything,inlcuding publish as VCD, DVD.

Could anybody give me any idea about this? is it very difficult to find a commercial VCD/DVD producer to cooperate with?

or AB has any interest in that?

You can make your own porn movie with good-looking girls you select for half that, AND you get the full rights to publish the material however you'd like, PLUS you can verify yourself if the girls are of LEGAL AGE. That video producer from China might be using underaged girls. It's too hard to tell and too risky.

To produce onto DVD, you can do that yourself. Buy a DVD burner. $250 for a great one. Sell it online yourself. Very simple.

A typical starting salary for an amateur is $250 per scene. Get 4 girls, that's $1000. Buy a nice video camera, $500. Get a hotel room, $150. Legal counsel, $200. DVD burner: $250. Hire some graphic art student to do DVD cover work, $50. Total: $2150

And condoms, $10 at costco for huge ass pack.

I would add a computer with a huge hard drive, a video capture card to maintain the quality of the original footage, video editing software and make sure I had some damn good lighting.

I totally agree 5K is way too high.

As you look around you can find ways to cut your budget down. Like shoot at someone's house, barn, garage, etc.

I think you can also find girls that would do a porn video for less if not for free, but make sure you get releases.

Microsoft has a DRM-solution that indeed allows for this sortof system. But I doubt that users will be very happy if their computer opens a connection to microsoft every time they open a porn-wmv-file. Speaking of which - I actually don't know how what I have in mind works when you are offline. Well, maybe I'm just wrong.

How it works is when you encode the video you had a subscription to it. So after 30 days if you are still a member of that site the video will re-get the subscription so you can still play. If not, no wacking :)
