Pre-approved means that once QA gives it the once over it will be moved off the testserver...so yes, nearly active and ready to go. :wink:

The 4 signup rule still applies (so does the maintaining 4 signups to keep the pass)...unless you signup for your own site, get half the money back at payout (then you'll be able to access you members area)...get 3 more signups and request a webmaster pass as soon as you hit 4 (and get the 4th signup before your re-bill kicks in)! :D

I know I have asked this before but when can I get the movies to make sample clips...?

In answer to this question...

AB Staff is currently working on setting up AB webmaster, full-movie, FTP download access on the Centralised Content server as I type this :D ...Unfortunately, there will no longer be movies copied to your contentserver folder.

So ALL WEBMASTERS ON AB will have to wait until the webmaster FTP is online before we can download our movies again....glad i downloaded ALL of my newest movies BEFORE this went into effect (one of the lucky ones).

Looks as though you'll have to wait a wee-bit longer. :(

In the mean time, if you don't want to waste time - and it sounds like you don't - you can use the Pics from your Pics.zip (if they are sharp and clear) to create some Thumbnail galleries that you will be able to use for promotion. You can't submit them to any TGPs until your site is officially approved and live but you could get that work out of the way now while you wait for the actual movies.

If the pics are shitty, don't bother making the galleries yet because the TGPs will simply not get accepted. Wait until you get the movies and then make your own images from the movies.

If you've never generated thumbnail galleries before, there are lots of threads on this board (generally in the 'traffic questions' section) that can guide you. The Cozy Academy has a kick ass set of tutorials that explain the whole process also.

No biggie...I have another server that I can use for my sample clips...I just have to wait for my site to be active so I can make the movies and host them on my other server...

right now though I'm just trying to make a images page that I can post on free gallery sites to try and get some sign ups...

Does anyone know if that's allowed...?

Can I make a page and have it on my AB server with images to a movie or two and then use it for posting on Thumb sites to get customers...?

Or is that a no no...?

You can create galleries with free pics/free clips for promotion of your paysite but it must be on an ABHost account, not your preview or members server. Request an ABHost account from webtechs@adultbouncer.com
